About
Alain Miguel is a technology executive and two-time founder with over fifteen years of experience
building and scaling B2B SaaS, ecommerce, and AI-enabled products.
He started his career in finance at JPMorgan before co-founding Modalyst in 2012, a marketplace
and dropshipping platform that grew to connect merchants worldwide with suppliers across Shopify,
Wix, and other ecommerce platforms. As Co-Founder, COO & CFO, he led Modalyst through nearly a
decade of growth, capped by its acquisition by Wix in 2021 — a deal that saw both Modalyst
co-founders join Wix directly. Alain went on to serve as VP & General Manager of Ecommerce at
Wix, where he was later named a co-inventor on a U.S. patent for AI-driven product
personalization technology.
He is currently Co-Founder and CEO of Heirluum, a family wealth continuity platform designed for
estate-planning professionals and the families they serve.
